Belthangady: Bhasha Samarasya Dinaacharane was celebrated at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara High School, Belalu.
Perinje Sri D.M. High School Teacher Shridhar Rai launched the programme and said that language is meant for communication, life and harmony and not for spreading hatred towards each other. Any language has the power to interconnect. By learning the language, the society should be transformed into a civilised society, he said.
Parents’ Association Vice-President Yashoda greeted the gathering. On behalf of the students, Noorniha expressed her views on linguistic harmony. Headmaster Ramakrishna Bhat presided over the function. Teachers and staff were present.
Art programmes such as drama, dance, singing, etc. were performed in Hindi by the students. Hindi writing, poetry writing, and reading activities were organised for the children and prizes were distributed to all the students who participated in it. The art programmes were coordinated by Shravya S. V. and Sharia Khanam.
Hindi Teacher Rajshri welcomed the gathering and Amulya proposed to he vote of thanks. School student leader Mohammad Tahir and Swastik compered the programme. All the programmes were organised by the students themselves and showed the dignity of Hindi language.
