Belthangady: On behalf of a ward rural sports meet, the Kabaddi and Kho Kho Tournament for men and women was held at the Bandaaru Upgraded Senior Elementary and Senior Primary School.
Parameshwari K. Gowda, President of Bandaru Gram Panchayat, inaugurated the tournament.
The Chief Guests were Gangadhar Poojary, Vice President of the Gram Panchayat, Umesh Poyoli Chairperson of the School’s Supervisory Committee, Dinesh Gowda Khandiga Gram Panchayat Member, Suchitra, Chetan Kumar, Mohan Gowda, Sivagowda, Bharathi, Anita, Manjushree, Vimla, Pushpawati, Balakrishna Gowda, Mugheradka School Headmaster Shri Manja Naik, Physical Education Teacher Prashant Suvarna, Teachers Vishwanath Padmunja , Judge Krishnananda Rao Balalu, and High School Physical Education Teachers were present.
Vishnu Moorthy Bandaaru stood first, Mairlottadka second place in the women’s Kabaddi tournament, Vishnumurthy Mogru m won second place in the Kho Kho tournament. In Kabaddi, Mogru Warriors got first place in the men’s category. The second place was secured by Siddhivinayaka Baipady. Vishnu Moorthy Mogru won first, and Mogru Warriors second in the Kho Kho Tournament.
Gram Panchayat Development Officer Mohan Bangera K. welcomed and compered the programme. Manjushree rendered the prayer. Member Chetan delivered the vote of thanks.
