Belthangadi: The grant of Rs. 5.5 Crore has been approved for the construction of the Visvesvaraya Technical College Institute in the Silk Road area of Kali Village and many other trainings, including courses related to marine education has been approved. The taluk stadium will be built at a cost of Rs. 10 Crore on 12 acres of land at Belthangady Hunskatte, said MLA Harish Poonja.
He was speaking at the Challengers’ Award Night event held at the Karada Bhavan in Mundaje, to mark the 33rd year celebration of the Young Challengers’ Sports Club. “Mundaje is a village that inspired many aspects. The long back demand of road development works will be carried out by January. For the new building of the Young Challengers’ Sports Association and the construction of a well -equipped multi-gym at a cost of Rs 30 lakh will be given in the next few days. One of the four well -equipped sports residential schools in the State will be built in Mundaje and the Government is ready with a plan for it.
MLC Pratap Simha Nayak said, The power of life is hidden in dealing with the situation. He said positive forces increase the confidence of life.
Best Foundation President Rakshit Sivaram said that every person in the village should think about change with the concept of development of his village and should overcome the old mentality. He said there should be a thought of creating jobs rather than looking for a job.
Young Challengers’ Sports Club President Ashraf Ali Kunya presided over the function. Mohan Kumar, the Convener of the ‘Ujire Baduku Kattona Banni’, Mundaje Gram Panchayat Chairperson Ranjini Ravi, Sports Club President Sridhara G. Bhide, Secretary Shashidhara Thosar, Acting President Shinappa Gowda snd Shanthappa Kalmanja were present.
