Equal score for twin sisters of SDM PU college

Beltangady: Twin sisters are equal in marks. The second PUC exam result has been declared, Ujire SDM PU College commerce department students Sparsha and Spandana have bagged the first position in the commerce department of the college and the fourth position in the state with 594 marks each.


Umesh Gowda P.H. is a resident of Pullaje Punkedadi of Neria village in Beltangady taluk. And Geeta’s twin children, Sparsha and Spandana, completed their SSLC at Bharati English Medium School, Kulai, Sparsha with 623 and Spandana with 619 marks and then continued their PUC studies at SDMPU College, Ujira.30 km away
They have to travel 30 km from Neriya to Ujire. Both of them used to go to college by KSRTC bus from Neriya every day. In addition to the 60 km bus journey per day, one has to walk 2 km from home to reach the bus stop. His parents, who are small farmers, own some groundnut plantation. The twin sisters, who are children of an agricultural family, cooperate with their studies in agricultural work and dairy farming. He also helps his mother in housework. Along with these works, she is also a keen reader and her twin sisters have got the same marks.

Sparsha: English 97, Hindi 98, Business 100, Accountancy 100, Economics 99, Computer Science 100.
Spandana: English 98, Hindi 98, Business 100, Accountancy 100, Economics 98, Computer Science 100.
