Belthangady: Belalu Sridharmasthal Manjunatheshwar High School organized “Kuvempu Samoori” World Human Day celebration on behalf of District Kannada Sahitya Parishad in association with Beltangady Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad. The program was presided over by Ramakrishna Bhat Chokkadi, School Headmaster and Secretary of Beltangady Taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishad.
District Kannada Sahitya Parishad President Dr. MP Srinath paid floral tributes to the portrait of Kuvempu and spoke, Kuvempur who lived as an embodiment of humanity are true human beings of the world. Pro-life concern, life values, environmental love are widely advocated in his speech, writings and works. Those who perform their duties as God do what they do. He hoped that the memory of such a personality would become an example in everyone’s life.
