The National Highway passing through the Taluk is in very bad condition and covered with potholes. In this background, the BJP workers from Belthangady town and Laila began patching up works using readymix mixed with gravel and cement.
In the absence of any maintenance from the Highway Department, the youth carried out patching work using about 5 to 6 loads of cement during the night. The department that is in deep slumber needs to wake up.
