Beltangady: National Dengue Day was celebrated on Tuesday under the leadership of THO Dr. Prakash at Beltangady Taluk Hospital and Primary Health Centers.
Taluk Health and Education Officer Ammi said, “This time the weather is conducive to dengue and necessary precautionary measures have been taken by the department. It is necessary for the public to join hands by keeping their environment clean so that dengue does not spread.”
Hospital staff were present.
Public awareness was created through house visits in some PHCs.
