Inaugration of 13th annual Suvarna Cultural Fest event

Belthangadi: ‘The soul, life and breath of India is religion. There is no country except religion. An attempt to inculcate religion in people’s minds is being made through culture,’ said Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, president of Vivekananda Vidyavardhak Sangh and leader of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

He was speaking at the 13th annual Suvarna Cultural Vibhava event held at Suvarna Arcade premises on Monday night on behalf of Beltangady Suvarna Cultural Foundation, awarding Suvarna Ranga Samman to senior art practitioners.

India is the repository of knowledge of the world. Our culture needs to be saved for the sake of the world. Indian society is a society that wants good for everyone and everything. “Ours is a country that has developed culture from the base of divinity,” he said.

A language has its own culture. So there should be no life without home language. Religious and ritualistic work should be done in our home. He said that life should not be limited to just getting a degree and earning money.

Yakshagana is a great art of conveying ideas adequately with clarity of language. One that holds thousands of people captive. The mind that sees and loves Yakshagana should increase. He said that instead of turning to western dance, we should love our Indian dance where emotions mingle

Cultural Organizer B.Bhujabali Dharmasthala, Ballamanja Ananteshwar Temple Administrator Moktesara Harsha Sampigettaya, Belthangadi Sri Guru Narayan Swami Seva Sangh President Chidananda Pujari Eldakka, Belthangadi Police Station Circle Inspector K. Satyanarayan, owner of Suvarna Arcade Y Kunyappa Pujari was there.Senior Yakshagana artist Aruva Koragappa Shetty, dance guru Kamalaksha Achar, saxophone maestro Prakash Devadiga were honored with Suvarna Ranga Samman – 2023.

Sampath B Suvarna, President of Suvarna Cultural Foundation, welcomed. Pragya Odilnala presented the program and thanked.

Tulu Nad Tudar cultural program was held by Mulki Nava Vaibhava artiste telling the true story of Tulu Nad.

Honoring and respecting artists with art worship is a sign of a great character. Recognizing artists is an honor that makes them happy.
