In that regard, Karnataka has a population of 90 lakhs. However, only Rs 3000 crore was earmarked for the minority community in the government’s 2.5 lakh crore budget. But this time we are demanding the state government to earmark 35 thousand crore rupees for the minority Muslim community only, said Karnataka State Waqf Board Chairman Maulana Shafi Saadi.
