Advance preparation by kothiraj team to climb Gadaikallu

Beltangady : Jyothiraj alias Kothiraj, an adventurer who climbs dangerous terrains including the Chitradurga stone fort, Jog Falls area without any safety gear, will climb the 1,700 feet high Gadai stone on Sunday.

Gadaikallu, Narasimha Ghada, Jamalabad is also known as Gadaikallu in Nada village of Belthangadi Taluk. Jyothiraj, who has climbed several mountains and hill buildings, is now ready to show his adventure in Dakshina Kannada district as well. For this, a team of eight people arrived with him and made preliminary preparations.

The team members Basavaraj, Rajasekhara, Pawan Jose, Ningaraju Madan, Naveen, Abhi, Pawan Kumar arrived and stayed at Dharmasthala. The team met MLA Harish Poonjar. Permission was obtained from the wildlife department of the forest department to climb Gadai stone.

On Sunday, February 12, after 8:30 in the morning, the team carried out preliminary preparations such as marking and environmental observation for the Jyothiraj adventure, which will climb the Gadai stone from the Chandkur Sri Durgaparameshwari temple side. Jyothiraj, who is going to climb the gadaikal with the help of his hands in the north direction within the framework of the law, will carry a rope around his waist for safety.

Jyoti Raj, who carries out mountain climbing and other adventurous activities, has the intention of establishing a foundation to help children who are deprived of education. He said that the income from his adventurous works will be earmarked for the establishment of the foundation. About setting up a well-equipped gym. All the accumulated expenses are due to the fact that he slipped and fell in the Jog Falls environment and was injured and treated. He has a total of 13 disciples who are famous in many adventures in the country and abroad.
The people of district are warm-hearted and cooperative. He said that if permission is given to climb mountains and tall buildings in other parts of the district, he will show his adventure there as well.
