Beltangady; Bhaskara’s wife Geeta (24), a resident of Goliangadi near Venur, gave birth to a baby boy in the 108 ambulance while she was being taken to the hospital in labor pain.
While trying to bring her to the hospital in 108 ambulances based on an emergency call, she gave birth to a child in the vehicle at 2.57 am when she reached Padangadi. This is the ambulance of Naravi center and health nurse Purnima has given a timely health response on this occasion. Driver (Pilot) Bhudevappa has provided additional assistance. After initial treatment, both mother and child were admitted to Belthangadi Government Hospital. Both are fine now.
