Belthangady: ‘Be single-minded, strong for progress’

Belthangady: “A capable charioteer and a horse are required to move forward. It takes capable young people with a single mind to carry the palanquin. Similarly, for the organisation to be strong, everyone has to be single-minded and strong. Sripathi Arumudattaya, who took over as the new president of Tulu Shivalli Dharmasthala zone, said the organisation will move forward only if there is everyone’s cooperation.

He was speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the new team of Tulu Shivalli Sabha Dharmasthala Zone held at Gowri Shankara Krupa in Dharmasthala on Wednesday September 28. The meeting will be held every two months and the next meeting will be held on November 19. On November 26, it will be held at the house of Mundruppadi Bhaskar Rao and requested everyone to participate.

Taluk Vice-President Nagesh Rao administered the oath of office and secrecy to president and treasurer Ganesh Bhat. Former President Subrahmanya Noorithaya thanked all those who cooperated during his presidency. Secretary Subrahmanya Paduvetnaya presented the report of the previous meeting.

Chief Guest Manager Vasantha Manjithaya said that every member of the zone should actively participate in the meeting and show solidarity and organise new programmes, health camps, cancer awareness camps, etc.

President Girish Kudrentaya sought everyone’s cooperation for the activities of the sector.

Tulu Shivalli Zonal Secretary Muralikrishna Achar informed about the inaugural function of Harihara Anugraha Sabha Bhavan and said that for strengthening the organization, there is a need for an active personality, participation of all in the heart-warming programme and a mirror in the economy.

Subramanya Noorittaya, who led the sangha as zonal president, was felicitated. Prizes were distributed to Umesh Adiga, who was selected as the lucky member. Treasurer Ganesh Bhat gave the vote of thanks at the programme hosted by Suma Manjittaya.
