Belthangady: Brahma Shri Narayana Guru was a visionary who won people’s minds by his life and teaching. Narayana Guru who made a revolution in education by building a temple of Shiva in a place where the lower class people were not allowed to walk, wear proper clothes, and do not have access to temples, thus allowed them to enter the temple, said Sri Brahmananda Seer of Kanyadi Sriram Kshetra.
He said that Narayana Guru who preached the message of God is a great power that should be worshiped at all times. He inaugurated the Taluk level Brahmashri Narayan Guru Jayanti programme held under the auspices of the National Festival and Men’s Jayanti Celebration Committee at Kanyadi Deva Gudde Matha on Saturday September 10 and blessed that everyone should have freedom in all aspects of life. Thinking that everyone should be educated without allowing conflict, he started educational institutions that all classes should get education easily. Narayana Guru built temples to develop religious consciousness. He followed Satyadharma and got out of the shackles of caste. He said that we are all Indians, which means that we are following the message of Narayan Guru.
It was Narayana Guru who preached the message of humanity said Dr. Pradeep Navura while giving a lectur. He said that Narayana Guru was the one who realised that the discrimination of caste is a danger to the future and thus remove it without conflict.
MLA Harish Poonja presided over and talked about the need to be organised and united through education. Narayana Guru is the ones who emphasised on education. He established more than 85 Shiva temples in order to develop religious consciousness among the people. Kudroli Temple in Mangaluru is one of them. Messages are being implemented. If India is to remain India and Hindu society has to follow the ideals of Narayana Guru.
By celebrating Narayana Guru Jayanti at Sri Gurudev Matha, the thoughts of senior Seer Sri Atmananda Swami should be filled with energy. MLC K Pratap Simhanayak extended his best wishes.
