Belthangady: Bunts’ Sangha gives away Talent Award, student incentives

Bethangady: Bunts Yane Nadava Sangha (R) Belthangady and Global Bunts Sangha Union (R) Mangaluru, Bantara Yane Nadavara Matr Sangh (R) Mangaluru, Bunts Sangh, Bengaluru under the auspices of Belthangady Bunts Sangha a function to give away Talent Award and incentive to students was held at Guruvayanakere Bantara Bhavan on Sunday September 4.

Upendra Shetty, Immediate Past President of Bangalore Bantara Sangh, inaugurated the programme and extended good wishes. Jayaram Shetty, President of Beltangady Taluk Bantara Yane Nadava Sangh, presided over the ceremony.

Tribute to achievers

On this occasion, Gagan C, who had a special achievement in the wrestling tournament, and Disharagha Shetty, Dharmsthala, who won the second place in the International Yoga Competition of Shetty Machina were specially honoured and awarded.

35 students of the society who secured more than 90% marks in last year’s SSLC and PUC were honoured with Pratibha Puraskara.

Babu Shetty, who was serving in the association till now, was bid farewell. A total of 163 students were given student incentives.

Sadananda S. of Bangalore Bantara Sangha, Rajesh Shetty Kutyaru, Matr Sangha, Taluk Coordinator Raghuram Shetty Sadhan, Global Bantara Sangha Director Jayant Shetty Kuntini, Vijaya Credit Cooperative Society President S. Jayaram Shetty Padangadi, Vice President of the Association K. Vittala Shetty Kollottu, Secretary Sanjiva Shetty Kuntini, Treasurer K. N. Ananda Shetty ICRI along with Secretary Suresh Shetty Laila, President of Youth Division Sujay Shetty, President of Women Division Shobha V. Shetty, and Student Fund Convenor Vittala Shetty Ujire were present.

Mamata Shetty rendered the prayers. Vice President Vittala Shetty welcomed and proposed the vote of thanks. Vasant Shetty compered the devotional programme
