Belthangady: In the Common Entrance Examination conducted by NCERT, Deeksha B. S. has secured the first position at the national level.
Candidates here are eligible to study basic Sciences in RIE (Regional Institution of Education).
Deeksha B. S. has been selected for higher studies at RIE, Mysore. In the common entrance examination to qualify for MSc Ed and BSc Ed degree, she has secured National Rank First in MSc Ed Mathematics and MSc Ed Chemistry, State First Rank in BSc Ed.
Earlier in the second PUC examination, she had secured 593 (98.83) marks and secured the sixth position in the State.
She is a senior student of Excel Undergraduate College, Guruvayanakere and SDM English Medium School (CBSE), Ujire. She has secured a good rank in CET as well.
She is the daughter of Dr. Sridhara Bhat, a Sanskrit Lecturer at SDM College, Ujire, and Veena Shanbhag, a Mathematics teacher at Government High School, Halepet, Ujire. She has also completed her junior examination in music and senior examination in Bharatanatyam.
