Belthangady: Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari and Rajya Sabha Member Veerendra Heggade condoled the death of Forest Minister Umesh Katti.
He stated, in particular, he has cooperated well in planting fruit saplings in the forest areas under the aegis of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project to prevent the menace caused to the agriculture of farmers by wild animals. He recently participated in a fruit planting programme in Venoor and encouraged the farmers. He had also promised to cooperate with the Forest Department by providing fruit saplings, he added.
Heggade prayed for eternal peace to his soul and stated let Sri Manjunatha Swamy bless with the strength and patience to his family to bear the grief caused due to his demise, he stated in a release.
