Belthangady: Kaliya Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society has raised Rs. 70 lakh in the last financial year. The President of the Association, Vasantha Majalu, said that it has decided to give 14 per cent dividends to members.
He was speaking at the General Assembly held at the Kaliya Gerukatte Sahakari Bhavan Sunday on September 18. The association has 2,489 in ‘A’ class, 223 in ‘C’ and 113 members of the ‘D’ class. The deposit of more than Rs. 35 Crore is worth Rs. 44 Crore given as a loan.
MKCC has given medium term, long -term, and automobile among others. Bhagyalakshmi, and Bhagyanidhi Cash Certificate are some of the schemes to collect deposits. In all, 3.87 Crore in the deposit collection and an increased 4.21 Crore loan has been distributed.
Vice President of the Association, Hariprasad Padanthaya, Devanna Moolya, Rajeeva Gowda, Shekhar Naik, Ramaprakash Shetty, Ratnakara Belladadka, Chandravathi Kattadabailu, Shashidhara Shetty Hirya, Lokaiah Kuntini, and Mamata Shetty were present.
CEO Satyashankar read the KG report. Rajesh Permbuda, President of Belthangady Co-operative Bharati, presented the programme. Staff Santosh Kumar saluted. Gangaiah Gowda, Vasantha Shetty, Ananda Gowda, Ibrahim, Vanaja and Raghava Poojary were felicitated.
