Belthangady: On behalf of All India Association of Civil Engineers ACCE (I) Belthangady Centre, on the occasion of 162nd birth anniversary of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, Engineers Day will be celebrated on September 15 at Krishnanugraha Sabhabhavan, Ujira along with Rotary Club, said Association Chairman Jagadish Prasad N.
He was speaking at the press meet held at the press club and said that a vehicle procession will be organised from Belthangady Halekote to Ujire at 3.00 pm. A technical information workshop has been organised for the members of the centre from 5.00 pm in Krishnanugraha Sabhabhavan. Later, two senior engineers of the taluk, Narayan Bhatt and Sitarama Shetty B. will be felicitated in partnership with the Belthangady Rotary Club, he said.
A Bharatanatyam dance will be performed later, he added.
Rotary Club President Manorama Bhat, Secretary Raksha Raghnesh, ACCE (I) Secretary Vidya Kumar Kanchodu, and Treasurer Suresh Bangera were present.
