Belthangady: The foundation stone for pure drinking water unit to be constructed at Tekkaru Village in Taluk of the Dakshina Kannada District was laid.
MLA Harish Poonja laid the foundation stone. The unit will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 75 lakh.
On this occassion, Tekkaru Gram Panchayat Chairman Abdul Razak, Vice-President Pushpa K., Panchayat Development Officer G. H. Sumaiah and others were present.
