Belthangady: Assistant Drug Controller of Mangalore Circle-1, Udaya Kishore said that drug traders should provide information about prescribed medicines by expert doctors with a lot of warmth.
He was speaking at Sharada Mandapam, Ujire on Sunday September 25 while inaugurating the Global Pharmacists Day organised by the Belthangady Taluk Pharmaceutical Traders Association. He said that if we give good service without making business as our mission, to survive in this competitive era it will not turn as a problem, he said.
District Drug Traders’ Association President Sujith M. Bhide said that today, like all fields, there is a lot of competition in the pharmaceutical business. This should be faced with confidence, he said.
Belthangady Taluk Drug Traders’ Association President Chandrasekhara presided. Secretary Raghunath Damle, Treasurer Ganapati Bhat, District Secretary Gurucharan Rao, and Group Pharmaceutical Vice President of Business Development Sunil Chiplunkar were present.
Wholesale drug dealer Bhaskar and pharmacist Sujith were honoured. Vice President Sridhara K. V. welcomed. Madhava Gowda delivered the vote of thanks. Prakash compered the programme.
Ramesh, Saraswati, Girish, Ramchandra, Rafeequ, Bhavani and Sundara Naika from various villages of the taluk who are suffering from illness were given financial assistance by the Sangha.
Selected dairy farmers of the taluk were given calcium oral syrup and lifesaving equipment.
