Belthangady: Mosaru Kudike, Ganeshotsava programme held

Belthangady: Mythri Friends’ Club, Gandhinagara, Ujire’s ninth year Mosaru Kudike and Sri Ganeshotsava programme was held at Ujire Gandhinagar School Ground on Sunday September 4.

The games were inaugurated by S. P. Oil Mill Owner Shivakantha Gowda. In the programme, various games were organised for the public.

Speaking at the valedictory function held in the evening, Belthangady Best Foundation President and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Rakshit Shivaram said that harmony has been upheld by people of all castes and religions participating in the games without any discrimination. This games are a model for others. More emphasis should be given to education and organisation as envisaged by Ambedkar and that a healthy society can be built only through education and organisation.

Lakshman G.S., Young entrepreneur Praveen Fernandes, Sri Dharmasthala English Medium School Physical Education Teacher Sanjeeva K., Sukirti Jain, Mythri Friends’ Club Honorary President Srinivas, Ujire Gram Panchayat Staff Nagesh and local leaders were present.

The event was presided over by Mythri Friends Club President Dinesh, Ujire Gram Panchayat President Pushpa Shetty, Vice President Ravi Baremelu were present.
Local meritorious students who scored good marks in SSLC examination were felicitated on the occasion.

Nikita, 6th standard student from Indabettu, who was suffering from cancer, was given funds for her treatment expenses at the games.
