Belthangady: The general body meeting of Mundaje Primary Agricultural Credit Co-operative Society was held at Bhargava Auditorium of Sri Parashurama Temple, Sanyasikatte on Tuesday September 20.
Association President Janardhana Gowda who presided over the function, said that the association had made a profit of more than Rs. 1.60 Crore in the last financial year and it has been decided to give 14 per cent dividend to the members and 20 per cent bonus to the staff. The association has raised over Rs 5.54 Crore share capital of over Rs 5.54 Crore from 569 members of class 6,203A, C and D. It has a fixed deposit collection and disbursed loans worth Rs 77.41 Crore to the members. In all Rs 28.55 crore loan was taken from the District Central Cooperative Bank. By the end of the year, 100 per cent of the loan will be recovered. Setting up of farmers’ health wellness fund, agricultural implements, loans for the purchase of fertilisers, plans have been made to make more arrangements for the members of the association, he said.
The members of the association thanked the staff and the management for their cooperation. Member B. A. Rahman, Sujit Bhide, Vishnu R. Patwardhan Namdevrao, Babu Poojary, Venkateswara Bhat, Vishwanath Bende, Govind Marathe and others advised on the growth of the Sangha.
Director Koragappa Naik, Jyoti J. Phadke, Shashidhar Kalmanja, Raghava Kalmanja, Nandakumar, Sumana Gokhale, Nayana, Shashidhar B., Sanjeeva Gowda, Shashidhar, Gajanan Waze, Zonal Superintendent Sandesh were present.
