Belthangady: Programmes to mark centenary of Rajakesari Trust on Sept 24

Belthangady: The 34th house handover ceremony, wheelchair and tailor machine handover ceremony will be held as part of the 525th Seva Yojana of Rajakesari Sangha Founder Deepak G. Belthangady to commemorate the centenary celebrations of Akhila Karnataka Rajakesari Trust (RE) of the Taluk. The event will be held at Manjunatha Swamy Kala Bhavan near Santhekatte in Belthangady on Saturday September 24, said organisation Founder Deepak G. Belthangady.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday September 20, he said, “The organisation has been doing service work for 10 years in a row and has already spent Rs. 1.90 Crore. A total of 10,033 people donated blood in case of an emergency and several blood donation camps, health check-up camps have been conducted. the aim of the organisation is to help the poorest of the poor and the disabled in the society.

At the centenary celebrations in the presence of Avadhoota Sri Vinaya Guruji Gaurigadde and Sri Kshetra Mantradevatha Sanidhya Kattemar (Amtoor) Administrator Manoj Kattemar, MLA Harish Poonja will preside. The programme will be held at 7.30 pm. Mangaluru Sanidhya Group of Institutions Managing Officer Vasanth Kumar Shetty will inaugurate the event.

Sri Kshetra Gejjegiri Managing Committee President Jayanth Nadubailu, Belthangady Suvarna Foundation President Sampath B. Suvarna, Medical Prakoshtha Taluk Convenor Dr. M. M. Dayakar, Ujire Benaka Hospital Administrator Dr. Gopalakrishna, Film Actor Vinit Kumar, Actress Duniya Rashmi, Raja Kesari Taluk Sangha President Nagesh B., Tahasildar Prithvi Sanikam, Circle Inspector Shivakumar, Panchayat Chief Officer Rajesh Kotian, Hemanth Shetty, Satyajit Surathkal, Suresh Mumbai, Sitaram Shetty, Journalist Manohar Balanja, Dr. Chandrakanth and others will participate.

From 5.30 pm onwards, a cultural programme by Sri Chintamani Dance Group Kadeshivalaya, Rajeev B. H. Manoj Savanalu will present a magic performance and a Tulu comedy play titled Nambunda Nambule by Pingara artiste Bedra from 8.30 pm onwards.

Honorary Advisor Guruprasad Kotian, Convenor Shashikant Hindu, Social Media Head Ramanna, and Member Amrit were present.
