Belthangady: Under the aegis of the Belthangady Taluk unit, Dakshina Kannada District Kannada Sahitya Parishad, Permukha Subramanya Bhat’s Poetry Compilation “Chaduranga” programme held at Belthangady Suvarna Arcade on Saturday September 17.
Senior literary figures P. Ramakrishna Shastri released the book and said that literature, including poems, is becoming more and more frequent. But the quality needs to be focused.
Poetry and artist who introduced the work Dr. Veena Sullia said, writing poetry is not only sn end job. That should reach readers’ hearts. The guest, critic, Arvind Chokkadi spoke and shared the opinions. District Kasapa President Dr. M. Srinath took over and extended good wishes.
Sharada, wife of author Subramanya Bhat was present at the programme.
Kasapa Honorary Secretary Ramakrishna Chokkadi presented the programmr. Lawyer B. M. Bhat gave introductory speech and also introduced the author.
Sujatha G. Bhat sang a prayer. The ‘chaduranga” song was presented by Shankara, and Sujatha G. Bhat. Ashraf Alikuni gave a vote of thanks.
