Belthangady: Rotary Club celebrated Teachers’ Day at Rotary Seva Bhavan on Arali Road in Kashibetta, Ujire here in the Taluk.
Renowned Artiste V. K. Vittal was felicitated as well all teachers in the Rotary Club were felicitated.
Speaking on the occasion, V. K. Vittal said that painting increases the concentration in children and makes the mind blossom. He said that children’s artistic talent should be recognised and encouraged at an early age.
Interact Club of SDM English Medium School President Annette Pratham expressed her opinion on the subject of what an ideal teacher should be like.
Speaking on behalf of the honoured teachers, Anne Deepti explained the challenges faced by the present teachers. Anne Shruti Kantaje offered prayers. Rotary Club President Manorama Bhat welcomed the gathering.
