Belthangady: Seer Vikhyatananda lays foundation stone for Sri Gurudeva Bank

He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for the new building of Sri Gurudeva Vividhoddesha Sahakari Sangha, which will be constructed at a cost of around Rs. 4 Crore near Bharath Petrol Bunk in Belthangady on Sunday September 4. “Co-operative societies should be engaged in social service along with economic business. Co-operative societies should teach the customers the technique of repayment along with providing loans.
Hundreds of families will be able to get benefit in the coming days, nearly 100 branches will be opened and they will grow to greater heights,”he said.

Sri Gurunarayana Swamy Seva Sangha Honorary President and Director of the Bank K. Vasanth Bangera said, the intention was to build the building four years ago. However, due to technical reasons, it was delayed. Now our own building is being constructed at a cost of Rs 4 Crore, which is being constructed on its own, which is a record in the cooperative sector, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Association President Padmanabha Maninja said that the Bank is engaged in social service by providing scholarships to poor children along with financial transactions. He said the bank has risen to great heights with the cooperation of the customer staff and the management.

Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Ashwath Kumar welcomed the gathering. Director Dharanendra Kumar rendered the vote of thanks.
