Belthangady: The inaugural function of Tulu Shivalli Brahmin Community Hall “Harihara Anugraha”, constructed by Belthangady Taluk Tulu Shivalli Sabha (R) at a cost of about Rs.1.60 Crore, will be held on October 27 and 28.
On Sunday September 11, prayers were offered at Sri Janardhana Swamy Sannidhi in Ujire and released at Sri Ramakrishna Sabhamantapa under the chairmanship of Building Construction Committee Chairman Sharath Krishna Paduvetnaya. Honorary President Vijayaraghava Paduvetnaya was given an invitation letter.
Belthangady Taluk Tulu Shivalli Speaker Raghavendra Bypadithaya welcomed the gathering.
Taluk Unit President Swarna Sriranga Nooritthaya, Secretary Gayathri Sridhar, convener Shobha Suresh Kudrenthaya, Ujire Zonal Women’s Wing President Saroja Kedilaya, Secretary Vani Sampigettaya, Kuvettu Zonal President Prof. Madhur Mohan Kalluraya, and Building Construction Committee Working President Gopal Bhat and others were present on the occasion.
Sri Vidyaprasanna Theertha Swamiji of Subramanya Matha will inaugurate the “Harihara Anugraha” Community Hall on October 28 and give his blessings. Harinarayanadasa Asranna, priest of Kateel kshetra, will deliver a religious lecture. Sripathi Bhat, a businessman from Moodabidri, will be the chief guest. Tulu Shivalli Brahmin Sabha District President Dr. M. M. Dayakar will be present.
Contributions will be accepted from various quarters on October 26 afternoon. Vedic rituals, Chandika Havan, etc. will be performed on October 27 in the evening and on October 28 at noon under the guidance of Vedamurthy Ramakrishna Kalluraya.
Taluk Tulu Shivalli Speaker Raghavendra Bypadittaya said that yakshagana talamaddale koota will be organised in Tulu Shivalli language in the afternoon.
