Belthangady: The Freedom Square programme in Belthangady Zone was held at Kannadikatte Mosque premises.
Shukoor Darimi was the keynote speaker at the event, which was held under the theme “Equality, Liberty, Fraternity, Let’s reclaim India’s Heritage”. Sayyid Twaha Thangal, Principal of Darussalam College, Belthangady performed dua. Riyaz Faizi Kakkinje inaugurated the programme.
Zonal Organising Secretary Abdul Azeez Ashshafi Koyyur delivered the keynote address at the event. SKSSSF Belthangady Zonal General Secretary Abubaker Musliyar administered the oath of office and secrecy. I. K. Moosa Darimi Kakkinje, Gardadi Church Assistant Guru Rohan Lobo, Guruvayanakere Venugopal Sharma, SKSSF Belthangady Zonal President Hakeem Bangerakatte, Belthangady Division Jamiyyathul Muallimeen President Ashraf Faizi, General Secretary Shamsuddin Darimi, SKSSF Dakshina Kannada East District Treasurer Haneef Doomalike, Khateeb Razaq Darimi of Kantikatte MJM Mosque, Padangadi Primary School Headmaster Mohammad Farooq, Retired teacher Hyder B., Kannadikatte Muhiyuddin Mosque, and Mosque Management Committee Chairman Yusuf Ponzila was also present.
