Belthangadi: The annual Jatra Mahotsav of Lord Sri Panchalingeshwar and Lord Durgaparameshwari was concluded on March 28 with various religious and cultural programs.
On this occasion Shri Panchalingeshwara Bhajana Mandari and Balanja Jogi men presented Prabhavali to Shri Ganapati and silver Nandi to God’s Kodi tree by donors and progressive farmers Vishwanath Holla.
On the day of the fair, there was a public food offering at noon and in the evening, Sri Krishna Lilamrita Yakshagana was performed by the children of Sri Panchalingeshwar Yakshagana Training Center. On this occasion, Prabhakar Shetty, who is training Yakshagana, and Satish B., a folk artist who is composing and encouraging, were honored by the parents of the students who have received Yakshagana training. Sheetal Padiwal, Hereditary Administrator of the temple, Satish Rai Bardhadka, Chairman of the temple renovation committee were present on the stage. Suresh Pujari Jaimata assisted. After the program, Deva Bali Utsav Brahmashree Kunita Bhajan Board members performed Deva Sattu Bhajan, Kodamanitthaya Deity Nema and Ratha Rohana. A play was performed by chaparka artists.
