Venur: Kannada film magalu’s soundtrack is launched by Dharmasthala’s Dharmadhikari Dr D. Virendra Heggade at Srikshetra on Monday.

Tomas M.M., a resident of Venur in Belthangadi Taluk, is the producer and director of the film. He is originally from Kannur, Kerala. He has been living in Venur with his family for the past 15 years. He was working as a rubber tapper and developed skill in painting. As God’s gift, he got an opportunity to serve as an art teacher in Belthangadi Church School and served as an art teacher in schools like Lala, Madantyar, Venur, Moodbidire. On this occasion, when he came up with the idea of getting to know the various family problems of the children and giving a kind message to their parents, the production of the film Daughter was the way that he liked.
Kusaldarase Naveen D Padil has played the lead role in the film, while the rest are pure village artists. Director Tomas MM in the role of Ramu in the film, Bhargavi R in the role of daughter. Savita Plavya in the role of Shet, the mother has given life to the film.
