Kanyadi: On February 05th, a wheelchair distribution program was held for 5 spinal cord accident victims identified by Sewadham, a subsidiary of Sewabharati.
The Chief Guest of the program, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Karnataka Bank, Mahabaleshwar M.S., handed over the wheelchairs and appreciated the continuous service of Sevabharati to the community and Sevadham Rehabilitation Center for the spinal cord accident victims. He said that Karnataka Bank, which is celebrating its 100th year, has been giving priority to social service activities with a touch of humanity since 1924 in order to respond to the needs of the society. He promised to cooperate in the meaningful programs of Seva Bharati in the coming days and encouraged the beneficiaries to live with confidence.
Managing Director of Dharmasthala Siri Gramodyoga Institute K. N. Janardhan handed over the check of financial aid for the water bed given by Sevabharati to the beneficiary and said that the contribution of Sevabharati organization to the field of disabled people is immense and the disabled people who have suffered from spinal cord accident should be successful in leading a self-reliant life in the society by taking advantage of such an organization. Karnataka Bank Branch Managers Vinayak Prabhu, Praveen, Padmaprasad Alva, Avinash K and Sevadham Coordinator Purandara Rao, Chairman of the organization K Vinayak Rao were present in the program.
