Belthangadi, January 20: A preliminary meeting was held at the office of the conference in Ujire on January 18, with the organizers and all the members of the various committees of the district literary conference to be held in Ujire from February 3 to 5.
Kasapa District President Srinath M.P. Speaking, the organizer is responsible for the success of the conference with everyone’s cooperation. He said that all the committees have already been formed and coordinators have been appointed and given responsibility.
Kasapa Taluk General Secretary Ramakrishna Bhat Chokkadi said that the logo of the conference has already been released by the Honorary President D. Harshendra Kumar. Invitation letter is under preparation. A thousand pamphlets have been printed. He said that the banner installation program is in progress.
The conference will be held at Ujire Sri Krishnanugraha Hall, Sr. Abubakar Forum, Kumble Sundar Rao Precinct. Before the program at 9.30 a.m. every day, national flag, council flag and conference flag will be hoisted. The descent will take place at 6 pm. Kasapa State President Dr. Mahesh Joshi will inaugurate it on February 3 at 5 pm. He said that dignitaries of officials will participate from the district collector.
There will be concert, lecture, poetry concert on various topics. Later, the moderators of various committees of the conference distributed their responsibilities to the committee members.
Taluk President Yadhupathi Gowda presided. Economic Committee Coordinator Mohan Shettigar, Ujire Gram. President Pushpavathi R. Shetty was present.
