Belthangadi: Dr. Veerendra Heggade, Dharamsthala Dharmakhari, handed over the Mughuli to be installed on the sanctum sanctorum on behalf of Mahaganapati Temple which is being reconstructed on the banks of Aladangadi Falguni.
He has already given a grant of Rs.10 lakh and has also made a new idol of Lord Ganesha. The idol will be brought in a procession from Karkala on January 29.
Heggade will participate in the religious meeting on February 4 and bless.
