Ujire: Ujire Shree Janardhana Swamy Temple flag hoisting ceremony of the annual Jatra Mahotsav under the guidance of hereditary ruler Moktesara Vijayaraghava Paduvetnaya was performed by Sarath Krishna Paduvetnaya on the night of January 14.
Priests, vilayads and villagers were present. On Jan. 15, Ullalthi, Posaltai, and Kumaraswamy deities were named on the side. On Jan. 16 in the evening, Nettharamuguli deities were named on the side. Pushkarani Katte Utsav on 18th night, Pete Savari on 19th January, Chandramandal Rathotsav on 20th January, Darshan Bali Utsav will be held in the morning on 21st, public food offering in the afternoon, Maharathotsav and Shree Bhuta Bali at night and flag hoisting will be held on 22nd Jan.
Cultural programme
A folk program will be held at Sri Saradamantapa on Jan 20 from 6.30 pm, Dasavani and smooth music, Nrityarpanam, Jan 21 from 6.30 pm, Sangeet Sudhe, Bharat Natya Yakshagana performance on Jan 22 from 7 pm.
