Beltangadi: A massive forest fire was found at Alekhan Horatti Gudda of Charmadi Ghati in Chikmagalur district division on Sunday.
The forest department is struggling to bring the fire burning in the high-altitude hill. There is a possibility that miscreants may have started the fire, and it is suspected that a huge amount of forest fire has taken place.
There is a situation where the fire fighting vehicle cannot go due to the high altitude.
Fire near the floor of the monastery It was learned that someone had set fire to a pile of waste on the highway side near the Matha floor of Charmadi area under Belthangadi taluk, and as it was spreading to the forest area, there was no major damage due to the action taken by the staff of the local forest department.
