Foundation stone for various works of Balanja School

Belthangadi: When old school students and villagers join hands for the improvement of government schools, the children will get basic facilities for learning. Today Belthangadi Rotary Club has given 12 lakhs to Balanja School for various basic facilities. It is appreciable. When Belthangadi Rotary Club came to the neighborhood, the service rendered to the taluk during Corona will not be forgotten. MLA Harish Poonja said that he congratulates the contribution given to Balanja School as a MLA. He said that in cooperation with the Rotary Club Belthangadi in Balanja school building, 12 lakhs has been sanctioned for sheet installation, solar installation, and school room renovation work for the art hall under the grant of Can Fin Homes Ltd.

Belthangadi Rotary Club President Manorama Bhat said that the Rotary Club is functioning as a link between the rich and the poor and is involved in education, health, environmental protection and other services. Balanja Praudashala SDMC Executive Director K Vasant Salian presided over and said that today’s program is proof that the Rotary Club gives such a large amount of grants.

He said that today it is possible to give such gifts to the old students when they have love for the school they studied. Journalist Manohar Balanja spoke in introduction. On the same occasion, MLA Harish Poonja felicitated the students who excelled in various sports at the state level.Rotary Club Secretary Raksha Ragnes, Gram Pm members Yashodhara Shetty, Yakshata, Balanja Panchalingeshwar Temple Renovation Committee President Satis Rai Badadka, Balanja Shivaji Friends Club President Jagadish Rai, Pragati Pra Krushika Chandra Raja Puani, Shalabivru Samiti Former President Pradmod Jain, Praudashala Headmistress Sulochana was present. Primary School Principal Wilfred Pinto welcomed and felicitated teacher Mallikarjuna.
