‘Gandhinamana’ program at Mundaje Gandhi Katte

Beltangady; The principle of non-violence preached by Mahatma Gandhi, the truth, the act of the movement like fasting satyagraha, the message of tolerance between religions, should rise again. Muralidhara, Principal of Navodaya Residential School Mundaje felt that only then will his life message be restored.

 

He was speaking at the ‘Gandhi Namana’ program held at Gandhi Katte, Mundaje Bhide Thiruvu road side, on January 30, as part of Gandhi Martyrdom Day, in joint collaboration with Gandhi Vichara Odisha Beltangadi, Souharda Odisha Beltangadi Mundaje Unit and Young Challengers Sports Association.

Namdev Rao, Convenor of Young Challengers Sports Association, who presided over the program, spoke on the occasion.
Arekkal Ramachandra Bhat lit the lamp for Gandhiji’s portrait.
Later there was an award ceremony from all. One of the program coordinators. Ashraf Alikunhi Mundaje spoke in introduction.
Babu Pujari Kuluru, Kishore Kumar Kurudya, Abdul Hamid Nekkare, GK Hamid, Vamadeva Athawale, Rama Achari, Babu Nayka Onjarebailu, Nagaprasada, Shaila Ravindra Marathe, Asif Kurudya, Nawaz Kurudya, Ibrahim Kakkinje, the owners of the land where the Gandhi memorial banyan tree stands, were present in the program. , Biju, Umesh Pujari Nekkare, Ramesh Nayka etc. were actively involved.
Gandhi Vichara Vidhya Taluk Secretary Shasidhar Thosar welcomed.
The song ‘Raghupathiraghava’ was played through YouTube. A candle was lit and a message of peace was preached.
