Beltangadi: As the election approaches, it is natural for politicians to turn to God. Accordingly, MLA Harish Poonja has given kola service to Nava Guliga deities to win this time’s assembly elections.
MLA had announced before the last election that he would give a stick to the Navaguligas of the Barkaje Sri Durgaparameshwari temple of Nittade village in Belthangadi taluk of Dakshina district. In this background, this Kola service was seen on Monday night. Arriving at the constituency with his supporters, he offered kola service.
Barkaje is the only Kshetra in Tulunad where Navaguliga deities reside. It is believed that if Harake is carried here, the wishes of the devotees will be fulfilled. So Harish Poonja was here. Now they have given a stick to the Navaguligars. Also a large number of devotees arrived and witnessed the Kola service of Navaguliga deities.
A special Gaggar service was held for the Navaguliga deities. The MLA who arrived in the constituency Harish Poonja was honored by the Dharmadarsi of the constituency Ramesh Barkaje on behalf of the constituency.
