Kannada Literature Conference Congratulatory meeting

Ujire: A felicitation program for those who contributed to the success of the Dakshina Kannada District Kannada Literary Conference held from 3rd to 5th.

It was held at Ramakrishna Sabha, Ujira on Saturday. Sarath Krishna Paduvetnaya, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of the conference, who was presiding, said,
“The Silver Year Literary Conference held under the guidance of Dr. D. Virendra Heggade, the deacons of Dharamsthala, under the chairmanship of Dr.Hemavati V.Heggade, has become an unprecedented event. The experience and guidance of the seniors are the reason for the success. It was a unique program with an emphasis on punctuality and cleanliness. It has become a model program and has been praised everywhere. .”Volunteers working behind the scenes are responsible for the success of the programs,” he said.

 

Kasapa District President Dr. M. P. Srinath spoke”As expected, the conference was successfully held with the cooperation of all. The conference has proved that Ujire is also a literary and cultural city. This conference has been praised by those who always criticize with qualitative aspects. Various committee members have performed their responsibilities with special dedication. In the coming days, more literary programs will be organized by K.S.P.Vati. Plans have been made for the creation of Hobli and village units,” he said.
Pushpavathi R. Shetty, President of Ujire Gramam was present.Yadupathi Gowda, president of Kasapa taluk unit welcomed.

Dr. BA Kumar Hegde, Book Release Committee Gangarani Joshi, Swayam Sevak Committee Dr. Prasanna Kumar Aital, Material Display Committee Yatish, Media Committee Dr. Bhaskar Hegde, Commemorative Committee Diva Kokkada spoke.Tributes were paid to Vijayaraghava Paduvetnayar of Ujire Janardhana Temple who passed away recently.
