Belthangady: In commemoration of the third year of Shree Vishvestheertha Swamiji of Pagewara, on behalf of the Kalkura Foundation, Pejavar’s ‘Visweshathirtha Namana’ program held in Mangalore on 29th December.Retired journalist Srikara Marathe was presented with Lifetime Achievement Award by Pejavar’s Abbot Sri Vishwa Prasanna Theertha Swamiji.
Pradip Kumar Kalkura, President of Kalkura Foundation and others were present. Srikara Marathe, a native of Idu village in Karkala, has served in various positions in various newspapers of the country and is currently living a relaxed life in Majalu, Mundaje.
