Minibus lost control in an accident near Kapu Chadavu Ullalti dam

Belthangady :A minibus lost control in an accident near Kapu Chadavu Ullalti dam of Mundaje village in the taluk, injuring several people. Initial information has come that the condition of two of them is critical. The injured have been identified as Shashi, Jaladhara, Raghu, Basavaraj and Lok.

It is known that they were traveling to Sabarimala from Kudlagi taluk of Bellary district and there were 21 passengers in the vehicle. It has been learned that the cause of the accident was the failure of the vehicle’s brakes. The place where the accident took place was on a slope, and the driver of the vehicle became alert as soon as he realized that the brake had given out and brought the vehicle under control by moving it towards the bush on the side of the road.

A deep ditch on one side at the site of the accident,on the other hand, there is an electric pole and even if you are not careful enough, there is a possibility of a huge disaster. As soon as the accident came to know, three or four ambulances arrived and the injured were shifted to different hospitals. Beltangadi traffic police and local people rushed to the spot and are conducting rescue operations.
