Belthangadi: A perimeter wall is becoming dangerous for motorists and the concerned department needs attention.
This dangerous spot is located at Aladangadi on the Guruwayanakere-Naravi-Karkala state highway. Thousands of vehicles ply this route every day. There is a bend near Aladangadi bridge and on the edge of this road bend, a person has invaded the road and built a strong enclosure wall and is cold. His work is becoming a nightmare for motorists.
Here the road is sloping from one side and the vehicles come fast and turn and move ahead. The vehicles coming from the other side are not visible to the vehicles coming from the opposite side as the enclosure wall comes across. Thus the chances of an accident are high. Already, the road is widening from Guruwayanakare to Shaktinagar, and the drivers feel that if the road widens here too, they will be able to drive effortlessly.
In the next few days, the Brahmakalashotsava of the nearby Sri Mahaganapati temple will be held here and on this occasion there will be a lot of traffic of vehicles and devotees. Hence there is a need to unveil the premises immediately.
