Punar Pratistha Kalashabhisheka, Nemotsava in Kudyadi Garadi

Belthangadi: Re-pratishtha Kalashabhishekam and Nemotsava will be held at Anganadamelu of Kudyadi village, which is famous as the highest garadi in the taluk (Kodamanitthaya Daivasthan, Brahma Baidarkala Garadi, Kudyadi-Baraya) and is under the leadership of Prakash Bhatt, Asranna of Sri Somanatheshwari Temple in Aladangadi, from January 24 to 26.

On January 24th, arrival of Rithvijara, mass prayer, Punyahavachan, Ugrana Muhurta, Ganahavan, Sarpasamskara, Ashlesha Bali, Vatuvaradhana, Navagrahoma will be held. Saptasuddhi, Gopuja, Rakshogna Homa, Vastupooja, Vastuhoma, Prakara Bali, Adhivasa of the Gods, Kalash Puja will be held from 5 pm and food offering will be done at 8.30 pm.

On January 25* from 7.30 am Punyahavachana, Torana Muhurta, Ganahavan, Pradhan Homa, arrival of the storehouse of deities will be held, Kalasabhishekam and Parvaseva to the deities will be held on 9.17 Kumbha lagna. After that, there will be a darshan service of Kodamanitthaya and Baidarkala, and a public food offering will be held at 1 pm.

Religious meeting: Religious meeting will be held at 7 pm. Dr. Padmaprasad Ajila, Thimmannarasa of Ajila District-Aladangadi Palace will preside over. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will light the lamp. Ministers Kota Srinivasa Pujari, Sunil Kumar Karkala, Belthangadi MLA Harish Poonja, former MLA Prabhakara Bangera, Vidhan Parishad member Pratap Singha Naik and others will participate as chief guests. At 8 o’clock, there will be a public food offering, and from 10.30 a.m., the naming ceremony of ‘Daiva’ and ‘Kodamanittaya Daiva’ will be held.

On Jan. 26 at 7 pm, a religious meeting will be held, Beltangadi former MLA K. Vasant Bangera will preside. Chittaranjan, president of Kankanadi’s Brahmabaidarkal Garadi Constituency, will light the lamp. Legislative Council Opposition Leader B.K. Hariprasad, Vidhan Parishad member Harish Kumar, Moktesara Shivprasad Ajila, administrator of Aladangadi Satyadevathe Deity, Padmanabha Maninja, president of Beltangadi Sri Gurudeva Multipurpose Co-operative Society, Pitambara Heraje, president of Gezjegiri Koti Chennai Constituency Administrative Committee, and others will be the chief guests.

After that, there will be a public food offering at 8 am, Baidarkala nemotsava from 10.30 am, Manibale nemotsava at 3 am. At 6 am, the place will be cleaned, Kalashoma will be performed and the Deities will leave the Bhandara.

On January 22nd, a procession carrying green vegetables from the villagers of Kudyadi, Navara, Sulkeri, Pillya, Badagakarandur, Sulkerimogru, Balanja and four hundred villages will leave from Aladangadi Sri Somanatheshwari temple for Kudyadi Garadi at 9 am.
