Belthangady: A goods rickshaw and a school bus collided head-on this morning near Malebettu in Koyuru village, resulting in one death. Razzak (50), a resident of Pilichamundikallu of Kuvettu village, who was in the goods rickshaw, died. Rickshaw driver Hanif (48) resident of Pilichamundikallu village Kuvettu and K. Mohammad (57) resident of Panakaje were seriously injured.
He was taken to a private hospital in Mangalore.While taking the school children from Koyyur to Ujire by bus, the school bus collided with a goods rickshaw which was moving from Belthangadi towards Koyyur. The rickshaw was completely crushed in the incident. The traffic police reached the spot and registered a case.
