Venur: The joint anniversary function of Bharati Shishu Mandir, Venur Mahila Mandir and Yuvati Mandir was held at Shishu Mandir premises here.
Retired Headmaster K. Somnath Bhat presided. Padangadi Government High School teacher Premalata Ganesh spoke as the keynote speaker and said that Shishu Mandirs are the centers of building an enlightened India. Children’s schools should be built in more places to provide cultural education, he said. Mahila Mandal President Padma Harish, Yuvati Mandal President Sharmila Ramesh, Shishu Mandir Manager Rohini Prakash, Mataji Hemashridhar and others were present.
