Beltangady: Sri Muktananda Swamiji of Karinje said that country and religion are like two eyes. The Brahmakalashotsava ceremonies of Sri Mahalingeshwar of Venur are being held from February 19 as part of it. He blessed the religious meeting held on 21st.

If we want to remain Hindus, we must protect and nurture Sanatan Dharma. Ours is a country that gives shelter to all. Today the world is looking towards India. He said that our food habits, dress design and rituals are attracting everyone. In the people of Venur, the squirrel-like honesty and Hanuman-like strength that was there during the construction of Ram Sethu, has been reflected. Thus a solid, permanent temple is built here. Sahasra and Sahasra workers have performed their duties as laborers like the construction of Ram Setu. He said that it is commendable that Brahmakalashotsava is being organized on a large scale, lavishly and gloriously by the clean-minded behavior of MLA Harish Poonja.

Ganesh Karnik, a former member of the Legislative Council, has been a D.K. for the past eight years. And hundreds of temples in Udupi district have been renovated and Brahmakalashotsavam. But deep inside us there is a question of when the Brahmakalashotsava will take place. Doubts are also being raised whether there are homes and schools that teach our elders extraordinary achievements, heritage and manners. He warned that because of English medium schools, children are drifting away from Hindu customs without our knowledge. Let’s make our inner brahma kalash, he said, the devotees of Venur have seen the Lord through hard work when they see the system here.
