Belthangady: Two bikers were seriously injured in an accident between a car, tempo traveller and a bike near Madyadka in Kuvettu Village on Monday September 26.
The injured have been identified as Rakshit (23) and Rashmita (20), residents of Berbalaje in Machina Village. The duo, who are siblings were on their way to Belthangady from Madanthyar to get a mobile phone when a speeding car rammed into a tempo travel. Both of them sustained serious injuries when the tempo traveller overturned and fell on the bike.
They were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Badyaru and then admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru for further treatment.
Belthangady Traffic Police has registered a case in this regard.
