Belthangadi: An incident has taken place in Nekkare of Neriya village where a person died under suspicious circumstances.
A 62-year-old man named Shivdas from Nekkare of Neriya village was ill for the last two days and was admitted to Mangalore hospital for treatment. But he died without treatment and when local resident Gopal (aged around 55) went to call him to prepare firewood for his cremation, he was found dead inside the house falling from the couch. It is said that he had two children and he had gone out for work and the manner of his death needs to be ascertained from the investigation.
