On 27th, at around 1 pm, near Arasukatte Hegde furniture shop, Naravi village, Beltangady taluk, on the Naravi-Guruwayanakere public road, bike number KA 21V6818, its rider, Joki Rodrigues, was coming towards Naravi from Guruwayanakere side, Khalid who was driving on the wrong side of the road and was coming from Naravi side.Court Road was driven by Sanjaya Nagar Belthangad collided with Tempo Goods No. (KA 19A 8872) and the biker was thrown onto the road along with the bike.
He died on the spot with serious injuries on his head, right leg and left hand.
In this regard, Venur police have registered a case under Thana 24/2023 Section: 279,304(A) IPC.
