Belthangadi: A student of a prestigious college near Guruwayanakere died after falling from the top of the building.
The deceased has been identified as Uma Uzma S (19), daughter of Sanavulla, a resident of Vidyanagar, Chikkanayakan village taluk, Tumkur district.
She, who was staying in the dormitory of Excel College, went upstairs to study in the morning and fell down. She was seriously injured and died without responding to treatment. Investigation will tell whether it was accidental or suicide.
It is suspected that he may have committed suicide due to the atmosphere of fear and extreme pressure for the examination in the college.
